Aitkin Superintendent Dan Stifter talks high school sports, in-person learning

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin Public School Superintendent Dan Stifter gave the latest update on the School District with COVID-19 and improvements for fan attendance for sporting events.
Stifter did mention the COVID-19 cases within the District and Aitkin County do remain within low management protocols.
After an early spike in cases with the high school sporting teams, precautions were taken early and are paying dividends now.
Stifter also talked about how returning back to full in-person learning has allowed students and staff to get caught up for the second half of the school year.
Aitkin High School sporting events are also seeing a bigger fan attendance allowance recently.
