Crosby-Ironton School Board discusses Strategic Planning, Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce

(Crosby, MN) — The Crosby-Ironton School Board continued their discussion on the future with Strategic Planning while also conferring with the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce during their regular meeting Monday, February 22nd.
Crosby-Ironton Superintendent Dr. Jamie Skjeveland noted the Board was recognized during Minnesota School Board Recognition Week.
Skjeveland updated the Board on the latest Strategic planning with involvement from the community.
The Board also reached out to the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce on outreach for Strategic Planning for the District as well as the Chamber.
Questions on the future of distance learning were also raised during the meeting on Monday.
The Crosby-Ironton School Board approved the contracts for spring sports and activities coaches, the hiring of Kimberly Lynn for Paraprofessional, and the resignations of Secondary Math teacher Char Saley and Elementary teacher Ann Marie Bertram. The Board also approved to authorize the bidding for Phase 2 of the Construction projects for Summer 2021.
The Crosby-Ironton School Board is next scheduled to meet for their regular meeting on Monday, March 22nd.
