(Aitkin, MN) — Friday marked the second to last day for National FFA Week, and normally this would be a busy time for the Aitkin High School FFA Chapter. Usual preparations for a Local, Regional, and State FFA Banquet have adjusted with the world continuing to fight the COVID-19 Pandemic.
We had the opportunity to speak with Aitkin FFA advisor Erik Heimark on what this past year has been like for the groups of hard working FFA members.
This week, honoring all members of FFA, is about being able to look at the fun side of this premier youth leadership organization.
Typically, under normal circumstances, Aitkin FFA would be getting prepared for important events for the Spring, which may still have either virtually or with numerous precautions.
Heimark also talked about how FFA is open for all to join and provides opportunity to have fun and make friends.
