Lake Park-Audubon Begins Wednesday School Offering
Lake Park, MN — This week the Lake Park-Audubon High School started a new program that is aimed at helping those students falling behind in the classroom, which is something that has been more common during the pandemic. Similar to summer school, Wednesday School will provide students with one-on-one help to raise any failing grades or just get some quiet time to catch up on homework. Lake Park-Audubon High School Principal Art Meyer says Wednesday School is a spinoff of their Saturday School program, which was very successful during the first semester.
Breakfast and lunch are provided as part of Wednesday School, but students must stay the entire time. Students may also need to provide their own transportation on certain days.
And now that LPA is into the 2nd semester, the next round of Parent-Teacher conferences is on the horizon. Meyer says like their previous conferences, these too will be held virtually.
The Parent Teacher Conferences at LPA are scheduled for February 16th and 18th.
