Norman County West to Vote on Consolidation Tonight
Hendrum, MN — The Norman County School West School Board will hold their regular monthly board meeting tonight in Hendrum. The meeting was originally scheduled for January 19th but was pushed back a week. The meeting is significant for the Norman County West School Board as they will need to vote on a resolution to approve the consolidation agreement with Ada-Borup, as well take care of the annual reorganizational items, according to Principal Deane Flom.
The Norman County West School Board had intended on voting on the consolidation agreement on January 6th, but had tabled the vote to getting a better understanding of the tax impacts on the district. Ada-Borup approved their end of the agreement on January 12th.
