Garrison City council approves 2020 Audit, preview plans for Carwash/Laundromat

(Garrison, MN) — It was all business as usual with the Garrison City Council and Mayor Loren Larson from Tuesday, January 12th.
Mayor Larson noted the 2020 Audit from CliftonLarsonAllen which also had discussion.
The Garrison City Council approved the 2021 Appointments and Organizational Assignments.
The Garrison Fire Department was approved for a monthly donation from Light of the Cross Church and donations from the Deerwood Bank and Gregory Preusse. Mayor Larson read the Fire Department report that featured a recap of 2020.
Planning and Zoning also presented plans for the Carwash/Laundromat project.
The 2021 Fee Schedule was presented with more actions to take place including fees for short term vendors and the motion for the Clerk’s Conference was tabled pending more information on the date of conference. Mayor Larson elaborated on the lack of responses for application for HRA.
The Garrison City Council will be meeting again on Tuesday, February 9th at 5:30pm.
