Megan Workman, Council members to be sworn in at Aitkin city council meeting January 4th

(Aitkin, MN) — A new mayor and two council members will be sworn in for the City of Aitkin at their first meeting of 2021 on Monday from the Aitkin Public Library Community Room.
Mayor Megan Workman, council members Katherine Galliger and Jason Henke will be sworn in at the beginning of the meeting to serve terms until December 31st, 2025. The Council will look for approval on the Data Access Policies for Members of the Public and Subjects.
The Mayor’s Report will feature Mayor Appointments for 2021 and the Administration Report will also open discussion on scheduled Council Work Sessions for the 2nd Wednesday of each month and the Proposed Committee Meeting Schedules.
New Business for the Council will feature Drug Testing/Consent Form, Consulting Services contract for Madden Galanter Hansen, LLP, appraisal for the property on 909 2nd St NW, a reappointment of Public Utilities Commissioner Hyytinen, the LexiPol contract.
The Aitkin City Council meets at 6pm Monday night from the Aitkin Public Library Community Room.
