(Hill City, MN) — Year end matters and an update with a City Administration opening were the main features of the City of Hill City Council meeting Tuesday night from the Hill City Fire Hall.
In his final meeting as Mayor of Hill City, Dan Kingsley informed us about the opening of the Deputy Clerk’s position with the City of Hill City.
The Council denied the appeal of resident Lonnie Lee on a notice to vacate a property, and approval was given for a donation from the Hill City Fire Relief Association to the City in the amount of $18,000 and an application for the Hill City Lions Club Fishing Contest.
A crucial decision was made on the City’s new logo and letterhead.
Discussion on the Dog Park and Community Garden was tabled until a later meeting, possibly sometime closer to the Spring. The City will also be entering a partnership with Hill City Schools.
The Hill City Campground will also be getting some updates for next Spring.
In his closing comments, Kingsley took a moment to thank all of his constituents for his time as Mayor of Hill City, MN.
The City of Hill City Council will next meet on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021.
