Clearbrook, MN — After years of legal battles and waiting on approval of permits, Enbridge was able to introduce a virtual “kickoff’ of the Line 3 Pipeline Construction with comments from Enbridge employees and members of the communities that will see impacts from the Pipeline.
While the project is just getting underway here in Minnesota, over 700 miles of it is up and running in Canada and Wisconsin and more work was recently completed in North Dakota as well. Line 3 Project Vice President Leo Golden says to date all of their work has been done successfully with safety being a number one priority.
One of the contractors working on the pipeline will be Gordon Construction, a Native-American owned construction company based out of Mahnomen, MN. Vice President Matt Gordon spoke on the opportunity this project brings to not only their company, but those within the White Earth Reservation and Mahnomen County.
During the press conference, District 2A Representative Matt Grossell spoke on how thankful he was for Enbridge and their impact on his district through this Line 3 project.
And Clearbrook Mayor Dylan Gouge said that the Line 3 Pipeline replacement is an unbelievably important project for his community.
