McGregor School Board Truth and Taxation meeting sets 2021 Budget, Levy

(McGregor, MN) — The McGregor Public School Board came together for a Special Session meeting to review Truth and Taxation and Superintendent and School Board Goals Monday night.
The night began with the Truth and Taxation meeting led by Business Manager Shauna Dalchow explaining the formula for calculating the Levy for the McGregor School District.
The Board voted to approve the McGregor Final 2020 Payable 2021 Levy at $1,461,640.55 and the Superintendent and School Board Goals for 2020-21. Dalchow also went to discuss a resolution relating to the sale of the District’s General Obligation Bonds, Series 2020.
The Bonds were approved by the Board. Superintendent Brad Johnson updated the Board on the latest COVID-19 numbers that have seen a slight decline.
Johnson also addressed PreK-3rd Grade Students that remain with in-person learning.
The McGregor Public School Board also approved the hirings of Sarah Knellinger and Sarah Pierce, and the resignation of Deb Milner. The McGregor Public School Board will next meet on Monday, December 21st at 6pm.
