Deerwood City Council approves Budget, Levy; Defferring Assessments at December 7th meeting

(Deerwood, MN) — The 2021 Budget and Final Levy was the main attraction of the Deerwood City Council meeting from Monday night.
Deerwood Mayor Michael Aulie spoke about the Budget that came under than originally forecasted.
Given the circumstances of 2020, major changes took place with the budget and allowed for the City of Deerwood to lax on some future plans.
Approval was given for contract for Street & Utility Improvements and New Water Tower and Well. Aulie also spoke on Deferring Assessment Payments and planning on future resolutions.
Updates from the Fire Department on the Fire Truck situation and the Police Department vacation rollover was also moved on at the meeting.
The Deerwood City Council is next scheduled to meet on January 4th, 2021.
