Aitkin County Public Health updates COVID-19 numbers, recommendations, vaccine

(Aitkin, MN) — As COVID-19 numbers continue to rise throughout the State, and especially in Aitkin County, the time to be conscious of limiting the spread remains high. Aitkin County Public Health’s Erin Melz and Brea Hamdorf provided the latest numbers in Aitkin County
The reasoning behind the spike in cases cannot be limited to one factor.
Speaking of the Holidays, recommendations to help limit the spread among family members remain the same in wearing masks, washing hands, and social distancing.
Aitkin County Public Health is also in the planning stages of vaccine distribution, when the time would come for it to be given to the masses.
