In drive-through fashion, Elks Lodge members, Coordinators, and volunteers met to provide over 700 free meals to the Borderland on Thanksgiving day.
Volunteers, aged 6 to 80 years old, donned masks and gave back on Thanksgiving – in record numbers, Co-Coordinator Shawn Mason shares:
Each serving came loaded with all of the Thanksgiving staples: turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans, and more.
Mason credits all of those who sacrificed their time and effort to make Thanksgiving brighter for those in need this holiday season.
