Pillager Students Preparing For Distance Learning

Pillager, MN — Tuesday, we talked to Pillager Schools Superintendent Mike Malmberg, following the announcement of a switch of learning models for students grades 5-12.
We discussed first, what caused the change?
Malmberg went into detail about grades and dates involved.
Malmberg reminded those out there that daycare and meals will be provided.
To sign up for childcare, email Maureen Childcare will be available for 5th grade students free for tier 1 essential employees beginning Friday and going through the distance learning period. (All parents or guardians in the household need to be classified as essential workers)
The “five-day meal packs” will be available for pickup at the high school entrance by door H between 9 a.m.-10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Mondays. To sign up, email Lynnel or call 218-746-2109.
How about activities?
Superintendent Malmberg also discussed special education services and transportation.
