Fosston, MN — We are beginning to transition into the winter months and on the brink of flipping the calendar to 2021. But just because the dreadful year of 2020 will come to an end does not mean that this years issues, the covid-19 pandemic, will automatically disappear. With cases on the rise as the fall season turns to winter, there are a few things that you can do to stay safe. One of those being getting your flu shot according to Essentia Health Physician Assistant Grant Coauette.
According to Coauette, the majority of then new case numbers that are happening aren’t a result of kids in school or going into work, it’s the mass of family gatherings that people are attending. And with major holidays on the horizon those case numbers are expected to continue to climb if people aren’t cautious. One way to be cautious, as everyone knows, is to wear a mask. Coauette who is a Physician Assistant and has seen the data first hand says the data shows how much mask wearing works.
If you are going to be traveling for the holidays remember to do your best to be social distance as avoid large crowds.
