Fosston School Trying To Bring Some Normalcy Back With Homecoming Week

Fosston, MN — Homecoming week in our area schools typically proves to be one of the most fun filled weeks for both high school and elementary students with numerous activities that take place including dress up days and coronation. Of course, this year’s homecoming weeks are going to be different because most schools are in hybrid learning models and others are in distance learning mode which essentially cancels homecoming week all together. Fosston School Superintendent Sue Chase says homecoming week is going to look different this year but the student council has done a good job of planning safe activities for all.
King and queen coronation will take place on Thursday the 29th which will be live streamed through the Fosston School Facebook Page.
However, all of the fun isn’t just happening in the high school. The elementary has come up with an activity that is happening through October called “socktober” which Superintendent Chase says will be a good way for the elementary to give back to those in need.
You can check on all of the homecoming activities by visiting the Fosston School Facebook page.
