Miner’s Mountain Road now complete, open after improvements

(Crobsy, MN) — The Miner’s Mountain Overlook in the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area near Crosby just wrapped up a much needed facelift with multiple improvements taking place in the past months.
Cuyuna Country SRA Supervisor Jonah Moline informed us of the upgrades for visitors.
The stabilized roadway and improved stormwater management system will help prevent any further damage from years of abuse.
Moline says maintenance can be difficult with Miner’s Mountain Road being part of the snowmobile trail system. Some damage is to be expected.
The Miner’s Mountain Road project finished a $510,000 price tag and was funded from the Parks and Trails Fund. The Road is still open to hikers and mountain bikers but closed to vehicles for winter. Find more information on the DNR’s webpage and hear our full interview with Jonah Moline here:
