Fertile-Beltrami School Board Update

Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami School Board held their regular monthly meeting last Tuesday night. Currently the school district is following a hybrid learning model for the high school and the elementary is full, in-person learning. But COVID-19 case rates in Polk County are climbing and the district is continuing to monitor them. However, Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke says after conversations with Public Health, they have opted to stay with their current learning plans for the time being.
The school board last week discussed a letter from the senior class in regards to homecoming week. Superintendent Clarke says they were asking for the freedom to host some on-site activities as a way to celebrate the occasion.
And the board also had their annual Audit Report from Brady Martz & Associates and received a clean report, according to Clarke.
The Fertile-Beltrami School Board also approved a bid for a skid-steer sweeper attachment.
