New York Mills vs. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa – BBB (Gold 101.5 FM KRJM)
The Belgrade Brooten Elrosa Jaguars were able to fend off two runs by New York Mills, one in the first half, and another in the second half, earning a trip to state, 71-65 over New York Mills. The Eagles outscored the Jaguars 17-7 in the final four minutes of the first half and actually took the lead with under a minute to play before halftime, but the Jaguars would lead 37-36 at halftime. The Jaguar lead would stretch to as many as 16 points in the second half before the Eagles would battle back and cut it to three points with around two minutes to play, but it was the Jaguars who stuck with the game plan all night, earning the victory and advancing to state.
