Rainy River Baseball vs Miles

The Rainy River baseball team opened its season with a doubleheader yesterday in Arizona.  In Game 1 against Miles Community College out of Montana, the score was tied at 7 after 4 innings.  However, the offense dried up after that as Rainy River lost 12-7.  Ethan Bergen went 2-4 at the plate for the Voyageurs while John Michael Gonzalez Jr. had an RBI triple.  Emilio Gonzalez took the loss on the mound giving up 11 hits and 8 runs over 5 innings.
