Rainy River Baseball at Itasca CC Game 2

The Itasca bats stayed hot at the start of Game 2 as they scored 3 runs in both the 1^st and 2^nd innings.  Rainy got 3 hits from Christian Dee-ko-chay-a and John Michael Gonzalez Jr. had 2 hits, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored but the rally fell short in the 11-8 loss.  Mateo Sierras and Kenyata Diamond also had a pair of hits in Game 2.  The Voyageurs will play their only games of the season at Scheela Field this afternoon against Vermilion in a doubleheader that starts at 2:00.
