The Aitkin Gobblers controlled the line of scrimmage and tallied 5 rushing scores on their way to a 38-0 shoutout of Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin from Veterans Field in Aitkin.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Gobblers scored on their final 3 drives of the first half with rushing scores from Austin Price, Hunter Nissen, and Owen Miller. Aitkin led 20-0 at the break.
First year starting QB Caiden Kjelstrom finished 3-5 for 107 yards, 100 of those yards coming to Jake Ince in the first half. Aitkin pulled away in the 2nd half with Jeremiah Smythe picking on the Titans’ Ty Donahue for a 40 yard INT TD and Alex Palm scored his first varsity touchdown late in the 4th quarter.
