Fort Frances Muskies at Dryden

Sticking with hockey playoffs, the Fort Frances Muskie girls traveled to Dryden to face the Eagles in Game 1 of the best of 3 NORWOSSA championship series.  In a game that saw 22 penalties called, Dryden scored on the power play and even strength in the first period to lead 2-0 after one.  There was no scoring in the second period but the Muskie girls would break through on a Paiten Kinnear goal in the third with assists to Piper Miller and Jerzi Calder before Dryden finished the scoring with a shorthanded and power play goal to defeat the Fort 4-1.  Game 2 is on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 from 52 Canadians Arena and our pregame starts at 2:40 on KGHS 1230 AM, 95.3 FM and rjbroadcasting.com with the Muskie season on the line.
