Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton vs. Thief River Falls

Hot shooting stoked the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels to an early lead in a game they never trailed and sent themselves to the Section 8AA Championship game with a 76-65 victory over the Thief River Falls Prowlers. With nine made three-pointers in the first half, the Rebels scored quickly and continuously to build a 46-28 halftime lead. After the Rebels built a 23 point lead in the second half, the largest lead of the game, both teams went on a min-scoring drought before waking back up in the final 10 minutes of the game. Thief River Falls continued to chip away with an aggressive defense and started to make some perimeter shots and brought the lead down to single digits with under three minutes remaining. However they would get no closer with the Rebels scoring their final eight points from the free throw line to keep their distance from the Prowler comeback. With the win the Rebels are now 21-6 and advance to the Section 8AA Championship game on Friday. The Thief River Falls Prowlers end their year at 20-7 and graduate five Seniors.
