Ulen, MN -- The Ulen-Hitterdal School could be the host site next summer as hundreds of young volunteers work in the community helping those in need with various projects and needs. Ulen-Hitterdal Superintendent Todd Cameron discussed the item the school board at their most recent meeting. Cameron says this a unique opportunity for community members to get some much needed help and for the school to play in role in giving back by hosting the volunteers as well.
During these Group Work Camps, participants from all across the nation typically stay at local schools where they can engage in indoor and outdoor games, share meals together, and participate in worship and teaching in morning and evening programs, along with doing service projects in the community. A similar Group Work Camp will take place in Alexandria, Minnesota this summer.
