Twin Valley City Council to Explore Adding Splash Pad

Twin Valley, MN -- The Twin Valley City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night at the Twin Valley Community Center. It was a relatively short meeting, but one of the major talking points came from the EDA/Parks meeting held prior to the regular meeting. Twin Valley Mayor Ben Fall says they appointed a new member to the committee and began discussion about exploring the possibility of installing a splash pad in the community.
Last month, the Twin Valley City Council approved putting in electrical outlets at the Heritage Center to be used for food trucks. With no restaurants currently open in the city, Mayor Fall encourages any area food trucks to look into hooking up and provide a much needed service to the community.
There won’t be any electrical fee for food trucks this year, but there is a small vendor fee required. Contact Twin Valley City Hall for more info.
And the town will be busy next weekend with the Town and Country Days taking place July 20th-22nd. Fall hopes that everyone can come out and support the many community events.
Other Town and Country Day events include a 5K run, demolition derby, pie eating contest, games and activities at the fire department, craft and vendor show, bingo, bean bag tournament, beer garden, food, and more.
