Gary, MN -- The annual Gary Days festival, scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday June 16th and 17th, will have some extra special events along with some extra special guests. The city of Gary will be hosting a Grand Opening event for the Gary Pines, which recently saw the development of many miles worth of multi use trails, a brand new obstacle course for the kids, and several other unique updates. Gary Mayor Kari Kirschbaum says the Grand Opening is a great way for them to say “Thank You” to those who made it possible and hear from some local dignitaries, including Congressman Collin Peterson.
