Ada, MN -- Several students from the Ada-Borup High School are leaving the windy plains for the windy city this weekend. After months of fundraising, roughly 20 High School band students will be taking a charter bus for the great city of Chicago where they will be spending Saturday and Sunday exploring the city. Ada-Borup High School Principal Kelly Anderson talked about their upcoming adventures while on the Ada-Borup School News program on Wednesday.

Along with the fun attractions, students will also do some shopping along the Magnificent Mile on Michigan Avenue and even grab some authentic Chicago style pizza at Giordano’s Pizzeria. Students will leave for Chicago at 9am on Friday and return to Ada Monday morning. Fortunately for the kids, they won’t miss any classroom time because there is no school on Friday or Monday at Ada-Borup.
