Ulen, MN -- Even in the dead of winter and just days following a blizzard, you don’t have to go far for a much needed dosage of tropical paradise. As tempting as California or Florida sounds, scrap the plane tickets and take a drive over to Ulen this Saturday, January 13th as the Top Hat Theater hosts Bob and the Beachcombers. Bob Burtis is the founding member of the group that is based out of the Twin Cities. Burtis says the group has been bringing a mix of beach favorites mixed in with some classic rock and roll for over three decades now.
Other than just playing good old fashioned music and having a fun atmosphere, Burtis say the ability to warm up a crowd in the middle of the winter has helped make them a fan favorite over the years.
The show starts at 7:30pm this Saturday at the Barry J. Houglum Auditorium at the Ulen-Hitterdal School. Doors open one hour prior. Tickets will be available at the door or you can reserve them by contacting the Ulen-Hitterdal School or online at www.thetophattheatre.com.
