Hillsboro, ND -- The Hillsboro School Board approved their Return to Learning plan at their meeting last Thursday, August 6th. As part of their plan, all students will be back in the classrooms, but have a distance learning option, when they return on August 26th. Hillsboro Superintendent Paula Suda says there will be a number of small changes to the day-to-day operations, but the biggest adjustment will be the requirement for students to wear a mask.
The learning model for the Hillsboro School could change throughout the year as well, and will be dependent on the COVID-19 risk level of the state, according to Superintendent Suda.
Suda has remained optimistic about the opportunity to return to in-person education this fall, but does feel for those who may be a bit nervous or concerned.
