Mille Lacs Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting is Tuesday, June 28
The Mille Lacs Fisheries Advisory Committee will meet from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28. The meeting is hybrid — via online videoconference as well as in-person at Appeldoorn’s Sunset Bay Resort, 45401 Mille Lacs Parkway, Isle, MN 56432. The agenda will include an open water fishing season update as well as a presentation from Mille Lacs Band staff on their ongoing acoustic telemetry study.
Members of the public may observe MLFAC meetings, but these meetings serve primarily as a way for the committee to hold group discussions. Members of the public may attend via online videoconference as well as in-person. Fifteen minutes are reserved for public comments and questions. For the upcoming meeting, members of the public who wish to observe the meeting or speak during the public comment period should contact firstname.lastname@example.org by noon Monday, June 27, to receive the online meeting link. Meeting minutes will be posted after the meeting on the MLFAC page.

The committee has been active since October 2015. Its purpose is to advise the DNR on the State of Minnesota’s fisheries management program for Mille Lacs Lake.
