Traill County 4-H Achievement Day Now Held in Conjunction with Hillsboro Days
Hillsboro, ND — The Traill County 4-H Achievement Day is back, but at a new time and with new activities! The Achievement Day has been moved up from July to this Friday, June 17th to be held in conjunction the annual Hillsboro Days. Jill Murphy, NDSU Traill County Extension Agent, says they moved it to the new date to capitalize on the extra people around town and hopefully draw some attention to the program.
Along with the coin scramble and other fun activities for youth, the 4-H exhibits will be on display throughout the day. Murphy runs down the schedule of events for this Friday’s Achievement Day.
Murphy adds that her favorite part about the Achievement Day is seeing how proud the area 4-H’ers are of their projects of which they invested a great deal of time and effort into.
All the Traill County Achievement Day activities will take place around the Traill County 4-H Livestock Building, which is next to the County Shed. The Lunchstand inside the 4-H exhibit building will be open from 8:30am until 3pm this Friday as well.
