Aitkin Schools staying busy with end of 2021-22 school year
(Aitkin, MN) — With High School Graduation signaling the end of the 2021-22 school year for Aitkin Public Schools, work only continues for Superintendent Dan Stifter and ISD #1.
In our monthly update from Superintendent Stifter, he spoke about putting a few finishing touches and quick maintenance on some projects at the High School.
The summer before the 2022-23 school year opens the door for ISD #1 to review curriculum that have been skipped over the last couple years.
Stifter spoke about establishing the curriculum review committees and the process of the review, which could take until the start of the fall.
The curriculum review on core subjects has been pushed back with the pandemic and has allowed more opportunity for feedback from the community.
