Students of the Month
6th grade- Carter Thompson-Carter is an awesome student to have in class. He is always
happy, helpful, and eager to learn. I can count on Carter to always focus on doing his work
well and then enthusiastically helping out his classmates.

7th grade- Zara Bakke- Zara is a super seventh grade student! She really does
well…because she tries…and then succeeds. She just “gets it”.  She is also fun to have in
class.

8th- Emerson Karstens- It has been fun and rewarding to watch Emerson grow more
confident over the past couple years.  She has a lot to offer, and I think she is beginning to
realize that.  I enjoy seeing her every day. It has been fun and rewarding to watch Emerson

9th- Julia Miller- Julia is an excellent student who truly cares about learning new things.
She has strong problem-solving skills and uses them to her advantage in class. Julia is a
kind, friendly student who is always great to have in class. Always prepared for class and
frequently looks to go above and beyond what is required. A very intelligent young lady
that has been nothing but a pleasure to have in class.  I am so glad to have Julia in our high
school band.  She always brings a good attitude and works hard to be her best.

10th- Brady Gilbertson- Brady is a good student. He tries hard….asks questions if
necessary…gets assignments in on time….prepares for tests….and does well! Always on top
of things and very conscientious about taking care of his work on days he is gone. I love his
attitude and willingness to step up when needed

11th- Emma Stewart- Always has a smile on her face and is someone that I look forward
to seeing every day. She is a day brightener!

12th- Sara Stalboerger- Sara is a hard worker. She usually does more than what’s
necessary…but it’s this work ethic that makes her successful. She is diligent with her
academics and takes it seriously. I just wish she would smile and laugh more often! Ha! Needless to say…she is fun to have in class! Dependable, willing to work, kind, pleasant, and
a great sense of humor, Sara is a pleasure to have in the classroom!
