Clearbrook, MN – Clearbrook-Gonvick schools celebrated the holiday season with a baking event for young students. Tiffany Kroulik says prior to the holiday break, student in K-6th Grade participated in baking holiday treats and crafting projects. The event took place on December 15th and saw a big turnout with 111 students show up. Head cook Robin Proffit led the event, managing the groups of children and keeping the various activities going. Kroulik says the school was excited to host this baking event again, since they missed it last year due to the safety restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic.
The lunch ladies at Clearbrook-Gonvick also held a community meal on December 25th. With the help of 20 volunteers, families and individuals got to have a free, warm holiday meal. The holiday and school spirit can still be felt at Clearbrook-Gonvick. More information about the school and upcoming events can be found on their district website at clearbrook-gonvick.k12.mn.us.
