Prairie Grains Conference this Wednesday & Thursday in Grand Forks
Grand Forks, ND — Wheat and Barley Growers from across Minnesota and North Dakota are encouraged to attend this year’s Prairie Grains Conference, being held December 8th and 9th at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. The Prairie Grains Conference will feature seminars, grower meetings, research updates, exhibitors, and more, according to Minnesota Wheat Growers Association Executive Officer Charlie Vogel.
A big part of the Prairie Grains Conference is discussing the results of the numerous research trials from this past year. Melissa Carlson, Vice President of the Minnesota Wheat Research Council, says there will be lot of data and information to uncover during the conferences.
Keynote Speakers for this year’s Prairie Grains Conference include Daryl Ritchison, Meteorologist and Director for the North Dakota Agriculture Weather Network, who will speaking on the weather forecast for 2022 and beyond, and Dr. William Wilson, Agribusiness and Applied Economic Professor at NDSU, who will speak on the challenges and opportunities in agriculture trading.
