Ada Police Chief Still Recovering from Battle with COVID-19

Ada, MN — It’s been nearly two months since the City of Ada’s veteran Police Chief has been on patrol, but Jody Bueng says hopes to be back on the streets again sometime soon. Bueng has dealing with a long battle with COVID-19 since late September and is still in the recovery phase. He was able to join us on the KRJB Kaleidoscope this week where he shared his experience with the virus.

In his absence, the Ada Police Department has had to rely solely on their other two officers to fill in for the chief. Bueng says Officers Hagert and Coonfield have done an outstanding job and put in a lot of extra hours to help protect the residents of the city of Ada.

Bueng hopes that if he continues to make progress with his recovery that he should be able to return to regular patrol sometime in December or January.
