East Polk Heritage Center in Fosston is having their annual holiday dinner benefit on Saturday, December 4th. Join them for a Viking Yuletide and Holiday Feast Winter Celebration. You’ll be treated to Viking inspired drinks, dishes and desserts served in the historic Larson house at the East Polk Heritage Center. Bonnie Stewart, Sara Averill and Steph Anderson were on Food For Thought recently to talk about the menu for the holiday meal which took months of planning according to Sara.
Steph Anderson will be baking a Nordic bread for the occasion. She adds that they will serve a meal similar to what the Vikings would of enjoyed during the winter solstice with just a bit of a modern twist.
Sara Averill rounds the rest of the menu they have planned for holiday feast.
