(McGregor, MN) — The McGregor School Board held a special meeting Monday night to review the coaching resignations, the COVID matrix, and the activity bus from the McGregor High School Library.
The Board did approve resignations from full-time elementary paraprofessional Dakota Scales, football coach Bob Staska, volleyball coach Becky Hagen, assistant boys basketball coach Anthony Pierce, and junior high boys basketball coach Jerod Fischer.
Approval was given to appoint Anthony Pierce as varsity boys basketball coach, Jerod Fischer as assistant boys basketball coach, Andrea Bohn as assistant girls basketball coach, and David Robb as junior high girls basketball coach.
Superintendent and Elementary Principal Brad Johnson provided to the Board more information on the updated COVID matrix that would allow the District to switch learning models if the COVID case rate reaches certain levels.
The updated COVID matrix was approved by the Board. Superintendent Johnson noted the lack of feedback from the activity bus.
Johnson also added onto the District potentially having additional construction costs for the Referendum Building projects.
The District could be responsible for an additional $48,000 from their contingency funds.
The McGregor School Board will be holding their next regular meeting on Monday, November 22nd at 6pm.
