Minnesota — If you are successful in harvesting a deer this year, whether it’s a big buck or small doe, the Minnesota Deer Hunter’s Association is asking you to consider donating the hide at any of their convenient drop-off locations throughout the region as part of their Hides for Habitat program. Instead of those hides going to waste, Minnesota Deer Hunters Association Executive Director Craig Engwall says those hides have turned into million of dollars for deer habitat improvement across the state.

There a number of Hides for Habitat Drop off Locations throughout region, including Community Co Op in Twin Valley and Lake Park, Hitterdal Liquor Store, J & S Bar in Felton, Riverside Inn in Hawley, the Fosston Off-Sale, and the Hill in Glyndon. To see a complete list of drop-off locations, visit their website, www.mndeerhunters.com.
