District 10B Representative Dale Lueck talks mining, potential Special Session

(Aitkin, MN) — With the project complete for the Enbridge Line 3 pipeline replacement in District 10B, State Representative Dale Lueck’s attention has seen more focus on mining opportunities and the State’s decision for federal COVID-19 relief funds in our most recent conversation.
Representative Lueck attended presentations in the past two weeks concerning the use of mineral resources and how they would greatly benefit the communities around.
Especially in the Emily area, one company is putting forth the effort of establishing the mineral rights for manganese.
Lueck, and other concerned parties and local officials, reviewed the need for emergency routes on the recently opened Kettle Cruiser Bike Trail in the Cuyuna area.
Representative Lueck also noted the lack of potential of being recalled back to the Capital for another Special Legislative Session.
