Fosston, MN – The Fosston School District is celebrating homecoming this week with a variety of in-school activities and sporting events. Fosston High School Principal Dominic Krump explains the different events Fosston Schools have lined up for homecoming week. However, many are subject to change or cancellation in case of rising COVID-19 cases.

The volleyball teams asks fans to wear green for a “green out” during Tuesday’s game. The Seals swim team will have their homecoming meet at the Fosston Civic Center starting at 5:30 P.M. against the Crookston Pirates. Volleyball will follow with their game against Bagley starting at 7:15 P.M. in the Main Gym of Fosston High School. Finally, the football team will end off the week of sports with their game against Warroad at the Thompson Field at 7 P.M. Along with all of these scheduled sports, there will be student-led conferences, which can either be in-person or virtual, and a financial aid night for parents of students looking to continue education after high school.

Picture retakes will happen on Thursday, October 7th. This is a prime time for students who were displeased with their first takes or absent to make up this opportunity. More information on school activities and other upcoming events can be found at fosston.k12.mn.us.
