FSA Makes Changes to the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program; Offices are Now Accepting Applications for Pandemic Assistance of Timber Haulers and Harvesters

Minnesota – Nathan Peterson gave the weekly FSA Report on Thursday, September 30th. Two FSA programs were the main topic of conversation. The first program Peterson spoke about was the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP). FSA offices are expected to make changes to the program in upcoming weeks. Peterson elaborated on these updates.

The deadline for filing or revising applications for the CFAP 2.0 is October 12th. The next program Peterson talked about was the pandemic assistance for timber haulers and harvesters (PATH).

FSA Offices are open, but will be closed on October 11th in observation of Columbus Day. More information on these programs and more can be found at www.farmers.gov.
