Deerwood City Council discusses Preliminary 2022 Budget

(Deerwood, MN) — The Deerwood City Council did open discussion of their Preliminary 2022 Budget during their rescheduled meeting from Wednesday, September 8th at the Deerwood Auditorium.
The Council did approve a contract payment for Contract B to go toward the New Water Tower and Well.
City Clerk Lee Russeel did speak on behalf of an application of use for the Deerwood Auditorium.
Deerwood Mayor Michael Aulie mentioned that his work of looking for Pension Fund increase for the Deerwood Fire Department.
Approval was given for the Pension Fund Raise as well as the purchase of a new paint striper for City use.
Russell did also talk about the Preliminary 2022 Budget and the need for City Departments to present their requests in a timely manner.
The Deerwood City Council will hold its next meeting on Monday, October 6th from the Deerwood Auditorium.
