(Camp Ripley, MN) — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is making available surplus archery hunt permits for Camp Ripley starting noon on Friday, September 10th.
The permits will be available on a first come, first served basis and hunters who already received a permit for this hunt will not be able to purchase a surplus appointment. A total of 197 permits remain for the hunt which will run from Friday, October 29th through Sunday October 31st.
Permits will remain on sale as long as they are available, or until Friday, October 15th at a cost of $14.
Hunter will need to use surplus permit code 677 and then choose the Camp Ripley hunt code 668. Successful applicants will receive a hunt packet in the mail, which includes a notice that is required to enter Camp Ripley.
The bag limit for this year’s hunt is two and hunters may use their regular archery license for either sex or may use bonus permits to take antlerless deer. The archery hunt at Camp Ripley is an annual event coordinated by the DNR with the Central Lakes College Natural Resources Department, and the Department of Military Affairs.
