CRMC, Red Cross holding blood donation drives this week

(Crosby, MN) — Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and the American Red Cross are teaming together to urgently help replenish the low blood supply with blood drives this week.

Blood drives will take place Wednesday, September 1st from 10am-4pm and Thursday, September 2nd from 8am-2pm at Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby. Donors should enter Heartwood through its main entrance and follow signs to the Conference Center. Parking is available near the main entrance.

More than half of the appointments remain open and must be scheduled by downloading the free Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit www.redcrossblood.org, or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). 

All blood types are needed and those who are eligible to donate must be at least 17 years and older, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health.
