Ulen, MN — More news and notes from last week’s monthly Ulen-Hitterdal School Board meeting. The school board will be looking to fill a couple of roles after Math Teacher and Head Basketball Coach Brett Maass submitted his resignation at the meeting. Ulen-Hitterdal Superintendent Ryan Baron says he is leaving for a position at another district.

Because Ulen-Hitterdal co ops with Norman County East for sports, the two districts will work together to find a new Head Basketball Coach.

The Ulen-Hitterdal School Board also approved their health and safety measures for the year with COVID still prevalent. Baron says they are following similar guidance of area schools and encouraging, but not requiring masks in school.

Superintendent Baron adds that overall, the goal for the district is for students and staff is to have as normal and as healthy as a year as possible.
