Fosston Heritage Days Set for September 11th; Forged in Fosston and Art Crawl Show Local Artists and Crafts People

Fosston, MN – Fosston is the place to be on Saturday, September 11th. Three exciting events will take place in the city of Fosston celebrating the past and present. Always set the Saturday after Labor Day, the 26th annual Heritage Day event will take place from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. and showcase two concerts of area bands. Bonnie Stewart spoke about the lineup, which will feature a new act from Bemidji. Included at the concerts will be a $5 barbeque lunch with demonstrations and vendors at an open air setting.
The Viking demonstration will have live reenactments showing the audience life in the Viking era. Jeff Olson will be heavily involved in this demonstration. Olson describes what audience can expect to see and learn at this event.
The 6th annual Forged in Fosston event will take place immediate following Heritage Days at Venture’s Bar and Grill from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. Demonstrations will be on display from two impressive guests.
The final event held on September 11th will be the annual Art Crawl. Heidi Davos gave information about the business led event from the Fosston Arts and Culture Commission.
