Livestock Assistance Program Updates with Norman County FSA

Ada, MN — The Norman County Farm Service Agency is encouraging livestock producers who are impacted by the drought conditions to get registered for the Livestock Forage Disaster Program to be eligible for payments. Norman County is currently in a D3 Drought and has been for the past four weeks. Norman County FSA Director Randy Tufton explains what information producers will need for their applications and how the payments will work.

Also available to livestock producers is the Emergency Livestock Assistance Program, which Tufton applies to those who have been hauling water to their livestock.
