(Minnesota) — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is opening the opportunity for special youth deer hunts for the Fall.
Hunters are able to sign up youth for a limited number of permits for the youth deer hunts, where the individual hunts take place on various dates during the Fall in State Parks and a national wildlife refuge.
Some regulations do include adults must accompany youth during the hunts with permit applications being accepted through Friday, August 20th.
Special youth deer hunts are different from the statewide youth deer season that does not require an application and takes place October 21-24. More information for the special youth deer hunt is available on the DNR’s website.
